Alex Zakkas, 1981, GR/NL

෴ practices design as a critical and experimental mode of research, using any media unstable enough to observe life in its synthetic condition, systems of thought and behaviour accustomed to designed or wild-grown entanglements with technology, opportunistic workarounds and techno-poetic acrobatics.

ᗛ works as a teacher and researcher in The Hague University of Applied Sciences and the Rietveld Academie, as well as independently, often with ]LAG(, Browserbased, Tre Tigri, Constant vzw

⊙ all projects are collaborations in one way or another, either with other makers or with the audiences they engage. Some have taken place in the context of artistic research, others are cases of applied design.
